May is Mental Health Awareness Month and KBH is planning two exciting events to help spread awareness in our community and raise funds for mental health services for those in need. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help make these events a success! Inside Out 2 Film Screening: May 9, 2026 from 2-8 PM in Gardiner
This family centered event will welcome parents, children, caregivers, educators and the community to explore the theme of “big emotions” through Pixar’s Inside Out 2 on May 9, 2026 from 2-8 PM in Gardiner.
Volunteers can participate on the day of event in a variety of roles including set up, ticket takers, ushers, raffle ticket distribution, concessions, photography, and general support.
Signs of Hope 5K Walk: May 30, 2026 from 7 AM-2 PM in Augusta
This fundraiser and awareness building event will allow KBH to provide life-changing support to persons who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. This walk will allow our community to step forward to carry the message that mental health matters and recovery is possible! Volunteers are needed to provide support on the day of the event in activities including registration, water distribution, course set up and support to walkers and guests.
