Qualified, licensed therapists at Kennebec Behavioral Health outpatient clinics treat a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, grief and loss issues.
Outpatient services help people deal with stress, trauma, impulse control, personality disorders, eating disorders, behavioral, social or family problems. We offer individual, family, and group treatments to address these and other issues.
Our clinical staff is trained to provide play therapy and consultation to parents of children coping with childhood issues including ADHD, school adjustment, and changes within families.
Psychiatric Medication Services
Psychiatric Medication Clinic experts at KBH provide compassionate, collaborative, and safe care of individuals with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.
We offer a variety of adult and pediatric outpatient medication management services. We provide initial nursing assessments, followed by comprehensive psychiatric evaluations by providers, which become the foundation for ongoing treatment. Our providers work collaboratively with patients (and others involved in their treatment) when developing their treatment plans.
Ongoing treatment includes the prescription and monitoring of medications, as well as other services such as: overseeing the setup of medi-sets, administering injectable medications, providing medication samples when available, and facilitating access to patient medication assistance programs.
Our med clinic staff include licensed and certified psychiatric physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses.
Our med clinic staff provide treatment for those with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders including: Anxiety Disorders such as Panic Disorder and PTSD, Mood Disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Substance Use disorders and Personality Disorders, among others.
