Adoption: Available for adoption with Somerset Humane Society
Animal type: Domestic Shorthair Black & White Tiger Male Kitten
Age: 5 weeks
Bio: When Buttons was only 2 weeks old, he was abandoned in an apartment with his mom and his brother and several other cats. They were not found for almost 2 weeks, and they had been left with no food and water. Unfortunately, by the time they were found, Button’s mom could no longer nurse him because she, after no food or water herself, was no longer producing milk for her offspring. Unfortunately, his brother passed away before they were found, but Buttons will thrive and live life for the both of them. He is one of the tiniest survivors.
What is your ideal day? Button’s ideal day would be at his foster mom’s house, spending time getting warm in the incubator she has for him, and then getting several bottles of warm kitten replacement milk.
What is your hidden talent? Button’s hidden talent is just how loud he can squawk when he feels he should be fed. He has to speak up loud so his foster mom can hear him over all the other foster kittens she has.
What makes your pet different than the other contestants? Button is different from the other survivor’s because he is a fighter and has had to be a fighter for his whole life. He held onto life tenaciously and fought hard to stay alive.
What is your pet’s biggest pet peeve? Button’s biggest pet peeve is for sure, no one realizes how tough he is. His eyes may have just turned from baby blue to adult green but he can hang and hunt with the rest of them. He can stand alone or thrive with others, just depending on the situation.
What survivor skills does you have (if any)? Button's survival skills are simply that he knows nothing else in his short life so far, except surviving. Most survival situations don't start 2 weeks after birth. He loves everyone but he knows his survival depends on himself.
How long would you last in the wild before returning home? Button would fight hard in the wild to stay alive, but he would have to return to his foster mom pretty quickly so he doesn't miss out on his bottle.
