Wednesday Wellness: Boost Self-Esteem

When it comes to self-worth, we tend to be our own harshest critics. Low self-esteems can be a result of or lead to mental health concerns, so what can you do to boost your self esteem?
Be aware and stop the negative self-talk. Recognize when you are being negative about yourself and instead swap out negative with positive thoughts.
Stop comparing yourself to others, especially on social media. Comparisons can only lead to anxiety and stress and you never know what other people are struggling with.
Volunteer. Helping others can take your mind off your own problems and boost self-confidence while you do good and meet people.
Finally, exercise. Studies show a correlation between exercise and improved mental health. You’ll feel healthier and happier.
