JTG Foundation provides key operational support
The John T. Gorman Foundation has granted KBH $20,000 in operating support to help maintain agency programs and supports for central Maine clients.
The John T. Gorman Foundation advances ideas and opportunities that can improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Maine. To achieve the greatest impact, the Foundation has a special interest in strengthening families and helping communities provide them with the supports and opportunities they need to thrive.
Kennebec Behavioral Health’s mission is to promote the well-being of persons who experience mental illness, emotional difficulties or behavioral challenges. In the last fiscal year, KBH provided help to nearly 14,000 adults and children, many of whom relied on the agency’s case management and substance-abuse services as well as outpatient mental health care.
KBH is very grateful to the Foundation for its financial assistance and for helping KBH to continue to provide important supports to persons in need.
