School Based Tele-Counseling Care Coordinator

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently hiring for a full or part-time (school based calendar with possibility of being a full-time position) School Based Tele-Counseling Care Coordinator. The Care Coordinator will provide care coordination services to youth receiving School Based Tele-Counseling Services. They will also work alongside the Tele-Counseling Clinician and school personnel to facilitate and support the provision of behavioral health services within the school setting. The Care Coordinator will develop a partnership with the youth and family to assist in coordinating access to counseling sessions and other needed services as identified by the treatment team, and will also facilitate scheduling of sessions and data collection for the project evaluation.

A few of the primary responsibilities will be to work alongside the Tele-Counseling Clinicians and school personnel in each of the participating schools to help students and families access services and resources, and to maintain client safety as a top priority by informing supervisor or other management staff of the potential safety concern in accordance with agency policy or program protocol.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree with BHP or eligible to receive BHP provisional.  Experience working with children, youth and families at-risk preferred.
