Kennebec Behavioral Health, named one of 2021 Best Places to Work in Maine, is currently seeking a Homeless Outreach Case Manager (Hybrid position – in-person work in the community required with the option to complete administrative tasks in home office or any one of our KBH locations!) to work with our Outreach Program.

Interested in connecting people to services? The principal role of the Homeless Outreach Case Manager is to provide outreach, engagement and referral resources to the homeless population who also experience serious mental illness or co-occurring serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The Homeless Outreach Case Manager utilizes strategies aimed at engaging persons into the needed array of services, including identification of individuals in need, screening, development of rapport, offering support while assisting with immediate and basic needs and referral to appropriate resources.
Requirements – MHRT/C certification, with B.A. or B.S. in Social Services, Mental Health or a related field preferred. Experience with billable case management preferred. This position is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working independently and utilizing technology. Valid Driver’s License.
