Finance Assistant

Kennebec Behavioral Health, one of Maine’s Best Places to work in 2021, 2022 and 2023,  is currently seeking a full-time Finance Assistant to join our Waterville team. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for managing a broad range of payables, payroll, accounting, administrative functions, (filing, basic journal entries, data entry, coding, printing, etc.) assisting with other reporting, budgeting, payee services, and audit related duties.

Requirements – Associates degree in business, accounting or equivalent experience; combined with the following:

* Strong problem-solving & customer service skills

* Two years of previous related experience preferred

* Excel and accounting software experience

* Data entry & clerical experience

* Great Plains & QuickBooks experience a plus but not required
