Kennebec Behavioral Health, named one of Maine’s Best Places to work in 2021, 2022 and 2023, is currently seeking full-time Case Manager to work with adults and children in the Farmington area. As a member of our team you will work with adults and children with mental illness in the development & implementation of a service plan that provides clients with access to and utilization of appropriate community resources.

Are you a problem solver who will provide support and assistance in the community? You will assist with problem solving, decision making and coping skills to maximize strengths and eliminate barriers for our consumers. The case manager helps consumers in getting basic needs met such as housing, food and entitlements. You will assess and evaluate, set goals, and develop a comprehensive individualized support plan describing the services or interventions needed. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, special education, child development, psychology, or closely related field is required. The successful candidate will be skilled in effectively working with children & families, have strong organizational skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. Certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician – Community (MHRT/C) or a Provisional MHRT/C required, and experience in the field is preferred. Valid driver’s license.
