Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a full-time Access Center Clinician/Supervisor to be a part of the CCBHC program in either our Augusta, or Waterville location! This is a professional clinical position that enhances access and continuity of care through the provision of mental health services to clients by focusing on conducting clinical holistic intakes for programs with capacity that align with patient needs. The Access Center Lead Clinician will provide screening to clients with co-occurring substance abuse conditions within the clinician’s scope of practice, and will facilitate the initial treatment phase, intended to enhance positive treatment outcomes.

The primary role of the Supervisor Clinician of the Access Center will consist of completing clinically accurate intake evaluations by engaging clients in a welcoming manner in the admissions process by having clients sign forms and consents, provide clinically appropriate psychosocial therapy by positively engaging clients in an on-going therapeutic process, and document client care as evidenced by accurate medical records by completing documentation and responding to clinical and administrative audits in accordance with KBH guidelines. The Supervisor Clinician will also participate in team leadership roles by co-facilitating Access Center team supervision, engage in peer review of other clinical records, and lead in the initial assessment accounting and making determinations of most appropriate clinical fields and content.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field. Licensing as a LCSW or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse preferred. Experience in providing mental health care preferred.
