Did you know that comedy shows can actually improve your health? Laughter can deliver a dose of both mental and physical benefits. So, how can a comedy show improve your health?
First, comedy reduces stress hormone levels and promotes positive thinking through laughter. Attending a show may help relieve pain. Laughing can cause your body to produce natural painkillers and will also help relax tense and aching muscles.
It’s a great sitting workout. Laughing actually burns calories. It shouldn’t replace regular exercise but it can really work those complex stomach muscles.
