Medication Clinic

Child Psychiatrist  Child Psychiatrist – Waterville, Maine (No call & No weekends)
Our organization operates Maine’s largest Medication Clinic at four sites in our region. We are looking for a Child Psychiatrist to join our team. Outpatient

Outpatient Clinician-Skowhegan 
Will consider full time, part time, or per diem candidates.
You will deliver individual (both children & adult) family, and group psychosocial therapy services to clients of all ages, while enjoying a flexible schedule that fits your individual lifestyle. The minimum qualification for this position is licensure as an LMSW or LCPC Conditional, with LCSW or LCPC preferred.



Outpatient Clinician-Waterville

Substance Abuse /Co-Occurring Disorders Program

Outpatient Substance Abuse/Dual Diagnosis Clinician  This is a master's level clinical position focused on clients in the Waterville/Skowhegan area who experience both substance abuse and mental health conditions. Clinical work will target the achievement of mutually defined goals and objectives developed and revised in collaboration with the client
Position requirements:
• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or a related field with licensing as a LCSW or LCPC preferred.
• We will consider candidates with a conditional LCPC or LMSW.
• CADC licensure and/or Certified Clinical Supervisor's certification is also preferred.
• Experience with providing integrated care to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse conditions is also preferred.

 
Child and Family Services - Family Behavioral Health and Visitation Services

MST Therapist – Skowhegan  Full time position in the Skowhegan area. Provide short-term, time-limited, crisis- oriented counseling services to identified families with children at risk of removal from home or those returning from outside placement. Successful candidates will receive two years of extensive training in innovative Multisystemic Therapy for children and families. Must have the ability to interact with parents and children in emotionally-challenging circumstances on a daily basis. Independently licensed, with a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related subject area preferred, but will consider bachelor’s level candidates with related work experience with families in home or community-based settings.

MST Supervisor – Mid-Coast.  Full time position available in the Mid-Coast area. This supervisory position provides clinical direction, supervision, and oversight to one or more MST therapist teams. The supervisor also works as part of a treatment team that provides short-term, time-limited, crisis-oriented counseling services to identified families with children at risk of removal from home or those returning from an out of home placement, and youth involved with juvenile justice. Successful candidates will receive two years of extensive training in innovative Multisystemic Therapy for children and families. Candidates must be independently licensed, with a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related subject area. Related work experience with families in home or community based settings and supervisory experience is preferred. Must have the ability to interact with parents and children in emotionally challenging circumstances on a daily basis.




Children's Case Management/Wraparound Maine Facilitator 
Help implement the newly grant-funded Wraparound Maine program. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team in children’s services. KBH has a full-time position for an individual to have a blended caseload for Children’s Case Management and Wraparound Maine Facilitation. Successful candidates will work as part of a team to deliver services to children with emotional/behavioral disorders, mental illness, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
Responsibilities for case management include continual assessment, knowledge of resources in the community and referral for resources, collaboration with other providers, advocacy, and assuring quality services.
The Wraparound Facilitator will work to ensure that the values and steps of the Wraparound model and process are delivered with the highest possible fidelity to national best practices. Work with the families and natural supports, con-vene family team meetings, oversee development of the child/family's wraparound plan, work with family to build and strengthen their natural support network, and support the family in learning the skills necessary to develop their own plans and access their own resources. Training and coaching in the Wraparound model of service will be provided to staff.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, special education, child development, psychology, or closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a commitment to helping families become more independent in meeting the needs of their children, and who have at least two years of case management experience.
Location: One position covering the Waterville/Skowhegan area.

 
Supported Housing Program

Residential Support Worker--There is a sign on bonus ($300.00) for those who are selected for full time schedules.   Full time and per diem in Augusta. Engages in case management activities with individuals which include: intake, assessment, services plan development, linking and coordination of services, services advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation services. Assists individuals with the Individual Support Planning process and identification. Participates in crisis intervention services with individuals. Performs skill building and resource development activities based on individual needs. Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with one year of relevant experience or Associate's Degree in Human Services with three years of relevant experience required. MHRT/C certified or eligible for MHRT/C Provisional required. Valid Maine Driver’s License. (R)
 
 
Central Registration

Central Registration Specialist Full Time – Will assist at various locations. The Central Registration Specialist position provides support to clients & visitors by answering incoming telephone calls, greeting clients & visitors as they enter the building and directing them as needed. This position also coordinates with the physician and clinician scheduling process, and assists with the billing process. Experience working with the public and excellent customer service skills are required.


 
Internships

Undergraduate Internships in our Access Center  Our staff provides centralized access to services at all of our locations. Access Center is the first point of entry for clients seeking services at Kennebec Behavioral Health, and has provided interns with ongoing practical training and weekly clinical supervision with great results. The unpaid internships offer a variety of learning opportunities, including interview training, technical training, and practice in case review. We also offer opportunities for interns to be involved in some of our research and process improvement projects. We have found the internship program very rewarding for student, staff, and patients. Community Support Services

Community Support Worker Community Support Worker – Skowhegan: Full time position. As a member or our team you will work with adults with mental illness in the development & implementation of a service plan that provides clients with access to and utilization of appropriate community resources.

Required qualifications:
• Certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician - Community (MHRT/C)
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in the field is preferred.

 
 
Clubhouse Services

High Hopes Clubhouse Unit Coordinator  Full Time - Join the staff of our High Hopes Clubhouse, one of two Internationally certified Clubhouses in the State that specializes in psychiatric rehabilitation. Work with Clubhouse Members in the development of workplace social & vocational skills.

Minimum requirement for the position is certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician/Community (MHRT/C) with an Associate's Degree in Social Services or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Also requires experience working with clients with mental illness, with Clubhouse and/or vocational experience preferred.
