Medication Clinic

Registered Nurse - Mental Health Triage

Coordinator of the Children's Case Management Service
The Coordinator of the Children's Case Management Service supervises the interaction of Children's Case Management Workers with their clients by assisting with their assessment and support of children with severe and persistent mental illness.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the CTCM program. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing referrals, assuring/improving staff competence and productivity, assuring a high quality of care/service to clients and their families, assuring compliance with DHHS/licensing program requirements and assuring CTCM coordination with both internal and external providers. This position carries a case load with the expectation of 50% productivity of other case managers.
Qualifications for this position are: BA/BS Degree (Master's preferred) in Human Services-related field. Required: experience working with Children's Case Management clients and supervisory experience.

Outpatient

Outpatient Clinician - Waterville
Will consider full-time, part-time, or per diem candidates. You will deliver individual (both children and adult), family and group psychosocial therapy services to clients of all ages, while enjoying a flexible schedule that fits your individual lifestyle. The minimum qualification for this position is licensure as a LMSW or LCPC Conditional with LCSW or LCPC preferred.

Managed Care

Managed Care Specialist
Full Time - 40 hour per week position in our Waterville Office. Seeking candidates interested in assisting with the management of our managed care contracts with our commercial payors.

This position requires an Associates Degree in Business, Social Services or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience working with managed care organizations is preferred. Must have excellent computer skills including ability to work with Microsoft Word and Data Base software.

Peer Review

Professional Peer Review Specialist
Part time - 20 hours per week. Reporting to the Clinical Director, our Professional Peer Review Specialist is responsible for providing clinical peer review audits of client records in all or our programs in order to identify clinical issues or trends. This information is used to develop individual and group training needs. The Professional Peer Review Specialist also performs utilization-management reviews of clinical records and documents adherence to standards of admission, continuing stay, level of care and discharge criteria.
We will consider candidates who have either their registered nursing license with psychiatric experience or are licensed mental health professionals (LCSW or LCPC). Utilization-management experience is preferred.

Supported Housing Program

Residential Support Aide - MHRT 1
Augusta - full-time. Full MHRT 1 preferred; MHRT 1 Provisional required. Shift differential: $2/hour for evenings and $3/hour for night coverage. Staff role includes:
- Providing rehabilitative-supportive services to persons with severe and prolonged mental illness that include: problem solving and decision making; supportive counseling; outreach; ADL skills training; family support; coordination/advocacy for services; education; medication administration and crisis support.
- Limited case management services may be provided in coordination with the clients' regular case manager as a supplement.
The goal of these services is to assist individuals in obtaining the support, skills and rehabilitative services necessary to improve their level of functioning within their communities and to decrease the need for hospitalization. These services are delivered in a variety of home, office and community settings depending on the individual's needs.

Internships

Undergraduate Internships in our Access Center
Our staff provides centralized access to services at all of our locations. Access Center is the first point of entry for clients seeking services at Kennebec Behavioral Health, and has provided interns with ongoing practical training and weekly clinical supervision with great results. The unpaid internships offer a variety of learning opportunities, including interview training, technical training and practice in case review. We also offer opportunities for interns to be involved in some of our research and process improvement projects. We have found the internship program very rewarding for student, staff, and patients. Community Support Program

Community Support Worker
Full time - Waterville office. As a member of our team, you will work with adults with mental illness in the development and implementation of a service plan that provides clients with access to and use of appropriate community resources.
Required qualifications: certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician - Community (MHRT/C); a Bachelor Degree in Social Work or a related field and a valid driver's license. Experience in the field is preferred.

Child and Family Services

Family Behavioral Health Clinician
Full- or part-time. Seeking a licensed clinician to work as part of a clinical team serving the Kennebec and/or southern Somerset counties. This position provides the opportunity to work with children/families in home and community settings, to facilitate a family's ability to manage a child's problem behaviors/symptoms and to improve parent's knowledge/skills.
Requires a Master's degree or above, and experience with children and families is a must. Previous experience working with families in home settings, or at least the desire to work with families where they live is essential. LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or Ph.D is desired. LMSW-Conditional Clinical, LCPC- Conditional or LMFT-Conditional with appropriate experience will be considered.

MST Therapist - Mid-Coast
Full-time supervisory position available in the Mid-Coast area. Seeking an individual with strong mental health clinical training and experience to lead a team of 3-4 therapists in implementing Multisystemic Therapy (MST). MST is a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their family. Duties include:
- Liaison with key collaborating agencies, providing ongoing evaluation and staff development for therapists.
- Interfacing with MST expert consultants and providing overall program management.
Experience required:
- Specific experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorally based marital and drug-treatment therapy preferred.
- 2-3 years of clinical supervisory-level experience preferred.

Children's Case Management
KBH has a full-time position in the Waterville/Skowhegan area for a caseload for Children's Case Management. The successful candidates will work as part of a team to deliver services to children with emotional/behavioral disorders, mental illness, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders and autism-spectrum disorders.
Responsibilities for case management include continual assessment, knowledge of resources in the community and referral for resources, collaboration with other providers, advocacy and assuring for quality services.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, special education, child development, psychology or closely related field. Preference will be given to candidate with a commitment to helping families become more independent in meeting the needs of their children, and who have at least two years of case management experience. The successful candidate will be skilled in effectively working with children and families, have strong organizational skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Wraparound Facilitator
KBH has a full-time position in the Kennebec County area for a Wraparound Facilitator. This position will primarily serve the Southern Kennebec County area. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver services to children with emotional/behavioral disorders, mental illness, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders.
The Wraparound Facilitator will work to ensure that the values and steps of the Wraparound model and process are delivered with the highest possible fidelity to national best practices with the goal of helping children to be maintained in their homes and/or communities. Work with the family will consist of the following: identifying members of the family team; ensuring that the majority of team members are informal or natural supports; convening the family team meetings; overseeing the development of the child and family's wraparound plan; working with the family to build and strengthen their natural support network; and supporting the family in learning the skills necessary to develop their own plans and access their own resources.
Training and coaching in the Wraparound model of service will be provided to staff.
