Veterans Outreach Intern

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Bachelor’s level Veterans Outreach intern. Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate Social Services related program.

The principal role of the Veterans Outreach Intern is to increase access to care for Veterans, Service Members and their families who may experience mental illness, trauma, and emotional or behavioral problems. The intern will assess consumer needs through clinical phone screenings and on a walk-in basis.  The Veterans Outreach Intern will then coordinate a continuum of community-based prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation services. The intern can assist consumers in seeking services such as financial assistance and in enrolling in state or federal programs that will enable them to access services.   In some cases, we can also assist Veterans and family members with obtaining copies of military service records, replacement awards, and in getting connected with nationally organized support services.

MST Therapist - Waterville

Counseling, social work or psychology professionals with at least a Bachelor's degree in your field - could you imagine:

KBH is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with ANA certification. If you are a Registered Nurse with ANA certification in mental health and psychiatric nursing (RNC) who is looking for a new challenge, join our child & adult outpatient psychiatric medication management team as a nurse in our Augusta and Winthrop clinics! 

Maintenance Specialist

KBH is currently seeking a full time Maintenance Specialist for Monday-Friday.  Our position requires a flexible generalist who can perform a variety of maintenance duties that include carpentry, painting, plumbing and groundskeeping. This position provides facility maintenance at our various locations and includes assisting with snow removal in the winter and landscaping in the spring & summer.

Nurse Practitioners - Mental Health

Community Living Services Case Manager - Waterville/Augusta

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Community Living Services Case Manager (full time) to work with our CLS Program. As a CLS Case Manager you will work with adults with mental illness as part of a multidisciplinary team in the development & implementation of a service plan that provides clients with access to and utilization of appropriate community resources.

Program Nurse - $2500 Hire Incentive

Kennebec Behavioral Health is seeking a Nurse with mental health and psychiatric nursing experience to join our Supported Housing and Community Living Skills Programs in the Augusta, Waterville, and Skowhegan areas. We offer competitive wages and benefits and the chance to work for a multi-site mental health provider who's been serving our communities for more than 50 years.  The Nurse we are seeking will provide nursing services and case management as part of the interdisciplinary management team to adults living in our Supported Housing sites as well as clients in our community. A very large percentage of this candidate's job will be to work with the medication management aspect, including staff training and education, ongoing oversight, and compliance assurance. The position requires travel within Northern Kennebec and Somerset Counties to residential houses, client homes and KBH locations, as necessary.

Developmental Services Case Manager - Augusta

KBH is currently looking for full time Adult Developmental Services Case Manager position in the Augusta area.  The successful candidate will work as part of a clinical team to deliver services to adults who are eligible for ID case management per DHHS.  Responsibilities of the case manager include on-going assessment, knowledge and understanding of community resources, advocacy, and collaboration with other providers, in addition to offering high-quality service to our consumers.

Peer Support Specialist

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a part-time Peer Support Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Homes team in the Augusta/Winthrop areas!  The Peer Support Specialist will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide peer support and consumer information to participants in the Behavioral Health Home program as a way to regain control over their own recovery process. 
 

Program Coordinator - Augusta Sign on Bonus!

KBH is seeking a Full-Time Program Coordinator to work with our Supported Housing program for adults in the Augusta area. We offer competitive wages and benefits and the chance to work for a multi-site mental health provider who's been serving our communities for more than 50 years.

The Program Coordinator will assist the House Manager with administrative functions including quality assurance, chart documentation, staff scheduling, maintaining the weekly activity/appointment schedule, assisting with client intakes, tracking staff certification, and ordering house supplies. The Program Coordinator also engages in case management activities with individuals including: intake, assessment, services plan development, linking and coordination of services, services advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation services. The Program Coordinator will assist individuals with the Individual Support Planning process and identification, participate in crisis intervention services with individuals, and perform skill building and resource development activities based on individual needs.

Outpatient/Substance Abuse Clinician - $3,500 Sign on Bonus!

 KBH is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinician to provide office based clinical assessment and therapy services that promote long term recovery and improved health. This is a Masters level clinical position focused on providing outpatient services for clients in the Skowhegan area who experience serious emotional disturbance, behavioral health disorders, and/or substance misuse disorders.

Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP)

KBH is currently seeking a full time Behavioral Health Professional! This position is available for a passionate individual with a desire to be an active team member of a Home and Community Treatment (HCT) program that covers the Skowhegan and Waterville areas. This program provides time limited, intensive, counseling and behavioral intervention services in a home or community setting to families with children. Staff will work closely with a licensed clinician to model and teach behavioral management, symptom management and parenting skills. The successful applicant will have a good grounding in child development and behavioral interventions, as well as having experience working with young children and their families. This is an excellent learning opportunity for individuals currently working toward or considering working toward their advanced degree in social work/mental health.

Residential Support - Willing to Train!

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking full-time and per diem Residential Support Aides to work in Waterville, Augusta, or Skowhegan. A full MHRT/1 preferred; MHRT/1 Provisional, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation required. *Completed CPR and First Aid certifications will be taken into consideration and KBH will train and provide Provisional MHRT/1 certifications to approved candidates. Shift differentials available for evening and night coverage.
