The Nurse Supervisor will ensure appropriate nursing care is provided to clients by overseeing the nursing intake assessment process, supporting staff with guidance and resources, and providing direct care services. The Nurse Supervisor is also tasked with participating in the process of client case management, documentation and collaboration with other internal and external healthcare professionals. In addition to these important responsibilities, the RNC candidate will maintain a capable staff and support individual nurses in determining and meeting their goals for direct service.

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Bachelor’s level Veterans Outreach intern. Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate Social Services related program.
The principal role of the Veterans Outreach Intern is to increase access to care for Veterans, Service Members and their families who may experience mental illness, trauma, and emotional or behavioral problems. The intern will assess consumer needs through clinical phone screenings and on a walk-in basis. The Veterans Outreach Intern will then coordinate a continuum of community-based prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation services. The intern can assist consumers in seeking services such as financial assistance and in enrolling in state or federal programs that will enable them to access services. In some cases, we can also assist Veterans and family members with obtaining copies of military service records, replacement awards, and in getting connected with nationally organized support services.
